Woodfield Weekly
Dear all,
Welcome back to Woodfield, and a happy new year.
This week’s note will be short and sweet!
The vagaries of the weather mean that we are uncertain up to the very last minute as to what exactly will be in this week’s boxes. However, I am certain that there will still be plenty of variety available.
As usual we will have the full list of box contents on the website from tomorrow, and each week we will have the contents listed in this newsletter, as long as the weather remains stable and we are able to forecast the contents with some certainty.
We will also post a few more recipes on the website this week, and if you haven’t done so recently I do suggest that you take a look at our recipe page. This page has grown quite a bit over the course of the last year, and is a pretty decent source of recipe suggestions now. Also, at the bottom of the recipe page we have a little search facility, where you can type in the name of a fruit or vegetable and see all of the recipes we have which contain that ingredient.
One item we will include in the boxes this week is potatoes (by popular demand). Perry Court Farm grow quite a few varieties and we will be getting a few of these into the boxes for you over the coming weeks. If you would rather not have potatoes plese let us know and we will leave them out of your box.
Finally, we are working with Perry Court to further improve the variety of produce in the boxes this year. So if you have any views on the box contents; especially in terms of items that you would like to see more (or less) of please drop us a line.
That’s all for now.
